Printable Fall Coloring Cards
Celebrate the fall season with these fun, fall coloring cards! These cards come in five styles and are perfect for autumn and Thanksgiving.
Hello Crafty Friends! The first day of Autumn is just a few days away and to celebrate I’m sharing a new set of coloring cards! These printable fall coloring cards are a fun fall activity for any age.
I created the doodle for this card in ProCreate last year and finally decided to turn it into a fun print for these fall-themed cards. I love how the playful leaves and acorns appear to be dancing. Each acorn features a unique pattern, either on the cap or shell, making them extra fun to color.
The card packet comes with with different sentiments including “Happy Fall Y’all” plus sentiments that are perfect for Thanksgiving. These include, “Thinking of you this Thanksgiving”, “So many things to be thankful for” and “Happy Thanksgiving”. The packet also includes a card that features just the acorn pattern that can be used for any fall occasion.

- Free printable cards – Grab the free files by filling out the purple form at the bottom of this post.
- White cardstock to print the cards on. I like to use 65lb cardstock or 110lb cardstock.
- Coloring supplies like:
- Scissors or paper trimmer to cut out the cards.
- A7 envelopes
- Scoring board (optional but nice!)
Coloring the Cards
Grab your favorite coloring materials and have fun coloring in the cute acorns and leaves. You can use colored pencils, gel pens, markers, or crayons – just to name a few! I chose to use my set of 120 Crayola Colored Pencils. It was perfect for these cards because it comes with several shades of brown that I enjoyed using to color in the acorns.
After coloring in the acorns and leaves, I colored in the background. Boy am I glad I did because this really made the whole card pop! I did two layers of color and was able to get some nice, vibrant colors.
Cut out and Fold
Once the coloring pages are completely colored it is super simple to turn them into cards. Grab a scissors and cut out the card then fold it in half and it’s ready to go! Below you can see I used a paper trimmer and scoring board. These tools are not necessary but if you have them they can make the process go a little quicker.
The cards are finished and ready to be gifted to someone special! Use an A7 envelope to fit the cards which measure 5′”x 7″. I hope you have fun coloring them. While I chose to use mostly fall colors, my daughter colored a few already and used a rainbow of colors, so there is definitely no wrong way to color these cute cards!
