The holiday season is officially upon us! Today I have a fun roundup of stocking stuffer ideas for sewers and quilters. If you have friends and family who love sewing – this list is for you! I’ve rounded up a dozen gift ideas from some of my favorite Etsy shops.

You can find a variety of needle minders on Etsy, everything from your favorite animal to your favorite TV show! These cute needle minders from Beverly of Flamingo Toes are my favorites! She even has a few Christmas ones perfect for holiday sewing! There is something so fun about using a pair of unique embroidery scissors when working on a project! There are so many cute ones on Etsy and Claudia from Crafty Wool Felt has a huge selection. She has the cutest animal scissors like unicorns, llamas, herons, and butterflies - plus the prettiest floral vintage scissors! A pair of these would make a great gift for any sewer. Give your needles and pins a stylish home with a sweet tin from of Yulia, of Matryoshka Doll Shop. These cute tins are the perfect place to hold sharp pins and needles and keep them safe. They come in a variety of prints and patterns making this a perfect gift for crafty friends! Sewing with a buddy is always more fun - especially when it's a cute cactus! This adorable pin cushion is crocheted by Brooke Webb, the creator behind FaithLoveandThreads. Customize your cactus with your choice of flower color and then enjoy adding prickly pins to him! Sewing pins are a basic supply for any sewist and you can never have enough of them! Gift someone a new set of simple pins or try giving them unique decorative ones. My favorite is the watering can but she has a bunch to choose from. Illustrator and designer Justine Gilbuena has created the sweetest enamel pins based off of memories of her childhood. I love the tin of butter cookies filled with sewing notions and definitely need to grab the tomato pin cushion! Sewing labels make a fun gift for sewers and you'll find lots of options on Etsy from cloth tags for sewing projects, to metal and wooden tags perfect for knitted creations. Head to the shop Bobbi Lou Fabric where you'll find these quirky Kylie and the Machine sewing labels. Shop owner, Chelsea Graham, has a great collection of these labels including ones with fun sayings like "made in the mountains" and "made by auntie".
