Harry Potter treat boxes lay next to a book and jellybeans.

Hello Crafty Friends! Today I’m excited to share these fun printable Harry Potter treat boxes! These boxes are super easy and quick to put together. They feature six Harry Potter characters including Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny, Luna and Malfoy.

I designed these pillow boxes a bit longer than my usual pillow boxes so they could easily fit a box of Bertie Bott’s Every Flavored Beans. Because who wouldn’t want to eat an earwax flavored Jellybean??

Starting today, I’ll be posting a series of awesome Harry Potter-related crafts in honor of Harry’s birthday coming up on July 31st. Last year at this time, I posted a tutorial on making your own Hogwart’s Express Diaper Cake as well as a free printable Cupcake Treat Box with Hedwig Gift Tag. This year I have a few more HP crafts and I’m starting them off with these Harry Potter Pillow Boxes!

Learn how to make these quick treat boxes below and download the free printable boxes from my Resource Library. Make all six characters or pick your favorites to craft. I have a nephew who just started reading the first book so I mailed him a bunch of these treat boxes filled with Harry Potter-themed candies!

These boxes make such cute gifts and I think they would be great party favors for a Harry Potter-themed party!

Supplies Needed:

Assembly Instructions

Step One: First, print the free printable pillow boxes on white cardstock. I printed on 110lb bright white cardstock but use whatever weight works well with your printer. Heavier cardstock, like 80lbs and up will be sturdier. Once printed, cut each pillow box out.

Step Two: Score the pillow box. I used a scoring board and stylus for the two straight fold lines. For the four curved lines, I laid my pillow boxes on a self-healing cutting mat and used my stylus to trace the lines pressing hard.

Step Three: Next, fold along the scored lines. and then fold gently along the curved lines!

Step Four: Adhere the pillow box together. I used a tape runner which worked really well. Scor-Tape is also my favorite double-sided tape which is nice and strong for treat boxes.

Close the top and bottom of the pillow box. The flap with the circle cutout should go on top. You may need to place a small piece of tape on the bottom flaps, depending on what you fill the pillow boxes with!
