Good morning!! Here we are starting the final week of 12 Days of Handmade Holiday! Today I wanted to share with you a Christmas Family Scrapbook I made a few years ago. I love getting together with family and friends at Christmastime and doing “Christmasy” things – baking cookies, making gingerbread houses, decorating the tree, watching holiday movies.

I love it all and I love traditions, new or old. Growing up, my family, just like most families, had their own special traditions. My favorite was driving to a tree farm an hour away to chop down our own Christmas tree each year.

Creating a Christmas Family Scrapbook was the perfect way to put all of these wonderful memories and traditions in one place. We bring out the scrapbook each year and look at the pictures and laugh at our hair.

For this album I went in chronological order and included one or two pictures from each year. In the back I created a page with some of our family traditions. I look forward to making another Christmas Family Scrapbook for my kids with the new traditions we are creating with them. :)

  • Mini scrapbook or photo album, mine was 6″x6″
  • Photos
  • Decorative paper, ribbons, embellishments
  • Paper cutter
  • Scissors
  • Adhesive – tape, glue or tape roller
  • Free printable cover pages – details for downloading the files are at the bottom of this post.

STEP 1: Print and cut out the free printable title page. I have created it in two different color schemes. You can add your family’s name to the top – either on the computer or by hand.
