DIY Fleece Polar Bear Purse

It’s day 3 of my 12 Days of Holiday Crafts series and today is all about this sweet DIY polar bear purse. The new sewing pattern is now available in my Etsy shop! You may have noticed I love creating polar bear-themed crafts around the holidays. I recently shared this Polar Bear pillow using Cricut Patterned Iron-On and one of my most popular Christmas posts is this easy fleece polar bear pillow. I made my kids those pillows years ago and they still use them! So here I am with a new polar bear Christmas craft – this time a purse!!
Made from fleece and felt, this polar bear purse is so cozy and sweet! The holiday gift the bear is holding doubles as a fun outside pocket to keep special trinkets. Fleece and felt are some of the most forgiving materials to work with. No need to worry about edges fraying!
Most of the purse is assembled with easy hand sewing stitches like the running stitch.
The purse has a flap opening that is kept closed with a little bit of Velcro that is hand sewn on.
