Thank You Coloring Pages for Helpers and Heroes!
These thank you coloring pages can be used to show appreciation for the helpers and heroes working in our communities. The free printables are available already colored in or as coloring pages you or your kids can color.
Last week we took some time as a family to color thank you signs to show our appreciation for all of the amazing helpers and heroes. Today I wanted to share the pages I created as free printables with you! These thank you coloring pages can be used for so many different things! The free downloads include pages that are already colored in ready to be printed as well as black and white coloring pages you or your kiddos can color in.
I found this activity was a good opportunity to talk to our children about what is happening in our world while also focusing on the helpers and how we can show our gratitude. Hang one in your window, on your door, on your recycle bin, or on packages you are dropping off to help others. Make sure these signs are hung where helpers can see them but where they won’t be in the way. When we attached one to the front of the recycle bin I used packing tape and secured it really well so it wouldn’t flap around.
The pages all feature a stained glass heart. We have seen a lot of beautiful artwork in windows and on sidewalks in our neighborhood and the stained glass heart is my favorite.

We’ve been isolated since the 14th of March, and I found your PDF last week. So I put one on our door, then gave them away to not only the mail man but those who have been shopping for us and dropping off our food. They were thrilled. They said, these were the first notes they’d gotten, first genuine thank you – we wrote them a note with the printout. I posted a picture of it on our door and shared this page with my friends. I hope they too came and enjoyed the free download. Thanks again!
oh wow – I’m so happy you found them useful and added your own special notes to them! It’s such a bummer to hear they hadn’t been thanked yet!! I felt a little funny at first taping the sign to our recycle bin but just this week one of our garbage collectors mentioned the sign and how he really liked it. It’s such a little thing to do but any way we can spread cheer and appreciation has to help!! :) Thank you for commenting – it means a lot!
Our mailman loved his!!! Thank you.
Oh yay!! I’m so glad! :)
