DIY Christmas Purse Treat Box
Create a sweet Christmas purse treat box for the holidays! It’s perfect for holding small gifts like nail polish or gift cards!
I’m so excited to share these sweet Christmas purse treat boxes with you today! My paper purses are one of my favorite paper projects to make. They come together easily and look adorable as gift boxes or party favors. The oversized bows on the front are so much fun!
I love how easy these boxes can be customized for any theme, season or holiday. The first time I made these boxes was about 6 years ago as as party favors for a bachelorette party. I made them using pink, black and silver glitter paper and they looked so glam when finished. They turned out so cute I started making them for other events and gifts.
This holiday season I decided to make some paper purses to use as gift boxes, but this time I used holiday-themed paper. These paper purses are the perfect size for small gifts and they just so happen to hold two bottles of nail polish perfectly. The bow closure on the top holds each bottle upright. There is enough room to slide a gift card too!
For these boxes I used paper from the Doodlebug Design collections Christmas Magic (the purse papers) and Night Before Christmas (the bow papers). I found these adorable 3-D sticker ornaments to add as tags to one of the purses. The stickers, or doodle-pops, are also from Doodlebug Design. I stuck them onto cardstock and then cut them out before adding a thin ribbon loop to attach them to the purse handle. They add a sweet touch to the purses!
